Comp cam springs. These were built at the machine shop and have been on my engine since it was new 2 yrs ago and only have 3256 miles on the motor.

There are several closed chambered heads with different casting numbers and markings that will perform as well and a original fuelie head. You need to get the last 3 numbers from the casting numbers and look them up.

The only difference between similar heads with 1.94 vs 2.02 valves is the size of the valve port itself (the intake passage is the same size!) and of course the valve itself. Those double-hump heads generally have 64cc chambers. The stock 283 used a 58cc chamber.Any camel hump head is a candidate for a street engine build. But the key is what you have to spend to make them useable. A lot of them are cracked in the exhaust seat area.
