Mhd exhaust burble.
I found the best scenario for the pops/burbles is to have lower RPM set for activation (I think mine is like 2200RPM). From 40-50mph in 5th or 6th gear let off throttle and let the car slow down. On the downshifts, the engine will exceed the set 2200RPM, and pop and crackle AFTER letting off the throttle and rev match downshift.
Just flashed my N54 AT 135i with MHD for the first time. I used the Stage1 91oct map. In the options, I selected catted downpipes (which I have) and exhaust burble to 1sec/1sec and "soft". My old NA Miata started burbling when the exhaust rusted through before the muffler and my SS really burbles with the j-pipes I replaced the mufflers with.
