I have the Bifrost 2 paired with a Jotunheim 2 that I use for gaming. Absolutely love it, games sound crispy as hell. I also listen to music on my PC so not solely for gaming. I would say for the purposes of PC gaming a Schiit stack (Magni+Modi) or Hel 3 is the way to go. They have plenty of juice and detail for games.

Curious about this because my Bifrost 2/64 is only about a week old. At the beginning, it had a dry sound with a good deal of sibilance. After about 35 or 40 hours that is all gone. Very happy with the sound quality. If the 2/64 continues to get better then it is truly an amazing DAC especially considering the form factor. Already is really.
