XM tech support suggested taking the truck to the dealer, but the radio "works". AM/FM/CD is fine, and it still tunes and plays audio on the three ...So, when a non GM box is installed, you need an adapter to turn off the power to the radio and to provide a circuit for the chimes to work. For the chimes to work, the drivers door speaker needs to be wired into this adapter. I suspect you may have a wiring mess behind the radio. Ray. There are about 8 clips, and a couple of plastic pins to deal with. Working it out takes a little bit, but rotating and tipping, will work it out. Take your time.
