The Spectre Comp has a 3.1" barrel because it uses the slide as the comp which in my opinion is less efficient than an actual comp or barrel porting. The most affordable quality red dot you can get for the P365 is the Swampfox Sentinel and the best you can get is the Holosun 507k. You can even get the slide milled for a Trijicon RMRcc and spend $500 on one of those. Out of the box I didn't notice much difference in the trigger. I now have about 200-300 rounds through each of them and the the CW does feel a bit smoother. The p365 and p365 x are the same slide length, with the x having an optic cut. You don't get the longer slide unless you get an xl. The 365 and x differences are a longer grip and flat trigger. I'd get the X model if you want a full size grip cause it comes pre optics cut which is a big plus imo.

The only difference between the X and XL is the barrel length that's it same frame same mag capacity same optics option same straight trigger..... the P365 is an older model curved trigger lower mag cap. and smaller grips ..... that being said p365x is easy to conceal that's what I carry and I can still wear fitted clothes no problem solid ...
