So last year I bought 6 of the Hatfield single shot shotguns from Walmart, 2 in each gauge. Admittedly, I didn't look them over as close as I should have. Three of the 6 have a noticable gap between the barrel and the action when put up against a light. I can slide a sheet of printer paper through.They also added a threaded barrel locking collar that goes on top of the gas chamber on the barrel (slides down the magazine tube). Anyways, I have no problem with using it as a 2.5" shell shotgun since I have a Tristar Viper G2 410 auto that works flawlessly with 2.5" and 3" shells. It should, it cost 2.5X-3X what the Hatfield did.
