It appears you need a photo of the serial number and markings on the gun you wish to sbr, and the AP5 that comes with the shield RDS has the mount covering half the serial number. Plenty of places to read up on what 922r says, but the bottom line is that SBRing an imported gun doesn’t get an exemption from 922r. SP5s are imported as pistols, and as such are exempt from 922r and come in with 100% non-US parts. When you SBR a semiauto pistol, you are making it into a semiauto rifle, so 922r applies.

The surface area of the part that’s shouldered is small, so it kinda digs in and is less than comfortable, even with how soft shooting the AP5 is. I would go for something like the collapsible SB that you can swap out the brace end for a stock end if you SBR it. I have the SB folder and it's fine.
