My Jeep seems to maintain temperature just fine throughout most driving conditions. I have replaced the oil cooler (was leaking), the thermostat, and radiator cap.The JK is still over heating. Coolant is Genuine Mopar Coolant, also. It is NOT consuming any coolant at all, it has not gone down since the last flush. There is coolant pressurizing the hoses and in the radiator. The heater works fine. However, temps are still reaching 240.Mine only appears to be running hot after I have been going down the road and have the A/c on. If I turn the A/C off, the temp goes back down after a mile or so. Speed does not seem to matter... only the A/C running. The jeep is a 2004 4.0L 5 speed. Get it up to operating temp, then top off the overflow. Take it for a few miles drive and then top it off again. Might be losing some from the radiator as previously suggested, so check it again after the next 50 miles. The jeep isn't running hot at all. The temp needle never gets past half or even up to half way. If, as you said, it was only the drivers side, then replacing the core didn't do a thing and the issue will likely return. There is one heater core.This is a common problem when doing any kind of cooling system work on a jeep. The JK is well known for being difficult to get all the air out of the system.
