The old 2010 Honda Pilot (76k) had been cruising right along, until a few days ago. The CEL and VTM-4 lights appeared. What was weird they appeared after I had been involved in some high water situations--the town I was in experienced a state of emergency situation with over 7 inches if rain in a two hour time period.The Check Engine light comes on with P0300 random/mutiple cyl. misfire detected along with P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, P0306 and the VTM-4 light comes on. The engine has a miss while idling and driving until the transmission goes into 2nd gear. After 2nd gear the miss goes away. You can stop by pretty much any parts store and they will scan the computer for free. This will give you direction on figuring out what's wrong with it.

Tested both the spark plug and coil pack then completed compression test. Also found low compression on cylinder 4 130PSI and low compression 5 130PSI. Normal compression should be 170PSI. Low compression most likely due to cylinder ring wear.

Had the dealership check it out during the last service, it was found as per the codes the battery was giving out low voltage. Honda replaced the battery. Possible you having the same issue the battery could be drawing during cold weather start ups.
