I get a grinding, clunking noise. It will go into gear after going back and forth from drive to reverse, but it can take four or five tries before it does finally go into low range. I recently purchased a Honda Pioneer 1000 and I just can’t seem to understand how this transmission works. I have followed the dealer’s advice exactly but I can’t get the DCT to shift from 2×4 to 4×4 differential lock unless I am almost stopped. I pulled the drain plug and cut it down to the correct length thinking it may have been restricting oil flow. At that time I also filled with the recommended Honda 10W-30.
