As a ex hydroid main (that still plays him occasionally) i think he needs a complete rework overhal. The only ability I think should stay are his 3, wich should be merged with his 2 and given the grendel treatment (does more damage per second, cant grab a ton of enemies and has better movement. It looks like Yareli and Grendel are getting relatively small tweaks… both of which I’ve asked for and am excited for. A fix for Grendel’s clunky cycling buffs, and a way to let Yareli shoot the enemies in her Riptide before it explodes. Yareli still needs a LOT more, but this is promising. Hydroid is my most played frame (and I am well over 1000 hours) and his passive gives me fucking conniptions. How about a 20% chance for any projectile to pass through him like he is liquid?
