The fuel regulator inside the fuel tank is causing this problem.The regulator is plastic and will warp causing fuel to leak by and reduce fuel pressure during startup.Your dealer should know about this problem (there is a service bulliton on it) and will be able to fix it.

Then let the engine go to idle. And while carefully watching the primary clutch turn the engine off. If the clutch opens even further when the engine is turned off then it confirms that the clutch is not opening properly either due to a clutch problem or the engine idle speed is too high. eyeboltman.
