Aug 13, 2022 · I have not heard of many cases of broken final gears on the K46, but it can happen. Since the gear is probably broken and with the hours on it, the pump and motor center section are likely worn, I would get a new transaxle. This is not a cheap repair. The Deere part is probably $932.
