I have used different clear on it with no ill effects. Each painter has his own methods for cutting and buffing. I usually get very little orange peel in my clear.

Jun 10, 2016 · yes I have, years ago I would clear over some metallic colors. they sometimes just don't look right without it, the flake comes to the top. any urethane clear should go over Ful-thane . if I do any metallic now its B/C only, I'm wondering why you would want to clear over urethane. s/s Jay D.
