I have completed said swap and posted about it. Head gasket cracked on my I5 at 170,000 miles, shop wants 11k to rebuild and I don't plan on doing it myself because I am already working on rebuilding a different engine for a boat and I am not super familiar with inline engines.

The stock 4l60e won't work behind an LS unless you change out the bellhousing/torque converter and input shaft. Your better off finding a 4l60e attached to an LS already.
