The throttle body is a part of the ESC system, and if any part of the system shows a fault, the ESC is automatically disabled. The problem will probably come back after a while. . See what the code is that's setting the light. If it turns out to be caused by the coffee spill, the switch can sometimes be cleaned with rubbing alcohol.
