I noticed Uncle Bens is very basic, compared to a Walmarts brand. 2 things whole grain brown rice and a little bit of oil. Uncle Ben's Tek smell. I have never tried mushrooms nor smelled any fresh mushrooms, but am currently attempting to grow some. I put 1cc into 5 different bags, I cut the corner on 3 and just pushed the needle into 2. Today is day 10. One bag has some black specs at the bottom, so I was concerned about contamination.Weigh each individual bag to the gram and record the weight. Puncture the corner of each bag 3 times with a sterile needle. Put the bags in the microwave and cook on the defrost setting for 10 minutes. Every 10 minutes pull the bags out and weigh them.
