Mine had a 4 cylinder so I had to run down to the salvage yard and pick up some V6 frame mounts so that the conversion mounts would mount up.

Based on personal experience with many V8 into S10 swaps, forget the Turbo and lowering it until you get the 350 in and driving. It's a lot less mind boggling if you don't open 3 cans of worms at the same time. If you are serious about turboing it eventually forget the old school 350 and go with an LS 5.3 or 6.0.
