BUT- properly fitted & in spec gun parts are Not supposed to 'eat each other' within 200 rounds, like has been seen on some of the p365's that are having problems. * not to say that Sig isn't making corrective measures to fix those problem guns-from what i've read here- it seems like Sig CS is on the ball to get those guns back & make them right.

One of my p365’s was an early model that had the same issue. SIG replaced the weapon. I took a video at the indoor range I go to locally. I informed them that I had an issue and needed to video while shooting and they didn’t have a problem. I placed my phone on my range bag and leaned it against the lane wall. Good luck! First, many responders, including yourself, has multiple P365s! As I noted elsewhere, this is a testament to the confidence that Sig owners place in the P365 line up IMO. This contributed to building my confidence in purchasing a Sig P365. I came into this discussion wanting the XL given the improved ballistics with the longer barrel of the XL.

Holding this particular FCU in the 3 position while handling outside the grip frame is the answer. This takedown lever just moves more freely than ones from my other FCUs.
