Depends on how your system handles audio. I have an icon on my system try for my motherboard's audio driver. I right click and select preferences. There is a drop down list in that window for Mono, Stereo, Surround (5.1), Surround (7.1). When using head phones, I flip back to Stereo from 5.1. Pls help.
