Pressure advance is independent of layer height so drop to 0.2mm if you want to move the printhead fast for calibration. Or if you're riding flow rates, you can get a (nearly) free appearance improvement by dropping the layer height. The ender3 hotend can't reliably manage 15mm3/s for PLA from a 0.4 it's closer to 10.
