Mar 10, 2017 · The drivers window just started acting up regularly and the passenger occasionally, but it is not used as often. When the window is down, pulling up on the AUTO switch causes it to rise, but when it get about 1.5 inches from the closed position, it reverses and starts a downward travel until it get about halfway down, then stops. From the button by the driver's door or the remote, you must push and hold; from the tailgate itself, just a quick push and release. I think I know the reason they designed it this way, but it does seem to cause a great deal of consternation and gnashing of teeth. 2015 Outback 2.5i Premium. Oklahoma, USA. UPDATE: Yes, my Driver Monitoring System does occasionally turn off. This usually happens when the sun is hitting the sensor directly. Might also happen when the dash gets hot but can';t verify that. The "Keep Eyes on the Road" warning rarely goes crazy but having sun on my glasses can cause that.
