I use the dot 99.9%. For longer range shooting the reticle can overwhelm the target. So if you plan on swapping the optic between a pcc or ar, the mrs is useful, and just go to dot for the pistol. X PRO just has multi-reticle. I have both and only use the dot even on the one that has the multi reticle option.
