Check your spark and make sure it is in fact a blue white in color and will jump a 1/4 inch gap at all 4 plug wires. #2 pull the carb drain plug and see if you have a good steady flow of gas for a few minutes. Catch it to make sure it is not full of water and dirt etc. #3 when was the last time you serviced the air cleaner.I posted on here a few months back about being a new tractor owner and replacing disy parts. Rebuilding starter and never checked to see which way disy turned. Can't crank the motor to tell as starter is now dead. After I rebuilt everything , I double checked the firing order and only got a loud backfire before old starter quit.
