If you reduce Havok to zero power (which you can do, repeatedly, with Vision ), his Plasma charges get wiped so you can avoid them overflowing onto you and exploding. With Bishop the method is different.

Other notable Havok counters that people usually bring up are Cyclops, Task Master and anyone with a power drain. Some like to use Hyperion for him since it's easier to push Havok to sp2 with him. Cyclops takes no plasma or sp3 damage but also his beams do zero damage to Havok. Makes for long but doable fights. YSK Any mutant champ can hard-counter havoc with the Prof.X + Magneto synergy. Prof.X+Magnito Synergy grants all mutants (except Prof.X) a 25-100 barrier at the start of each fight, this barrier counts as an armor up completely stopping Havok from auto-nuking you with his bullshit passive direct damage.
